New York Fashion Week—Focus on Details
For those of us in New York on September 11, 2001, today’s post represents something that we were never sure might happen: getting back to normal. While the world has changed forever, rituals and rhythms give us comfort. So the positive energy of New York’s Fashion Week represents a triumph of sorts. 12 years ago we didn’t know if we’d ever feel joy or be able to be happy and frivolous again. Today is bittersweet as we focus on some joyful details while recognizing a truly sad anniversary.
