Gorgeous. And makes me long for a New England fall even more. Can you send me some leaves, please? 😉
We were so lucky to get the last bit of color. Your comment brought back memories of ironing leaves in between sheets of wax paper and the unique smell that produced…did you ever do that with the boys? I wish I’d picked up a few to send your way!
Beautiful scenery! Wish I was there!
It was a great day out, a needed break from the city and just in time to catch the last bit of color.
beautiful colors. Where is this?
Thanks! These are the woods surrounding Muscoot Farm in Yorktown Heights, NY. A lovely change from pounding the pavements.
Nice. I’ve never been to Yorktown Heights but I leave the city every now and again for a change up. I go to Warwick, NY, which is quite lovely.
Your beautiful pictures remind me of the few things I miss by living on a tropical island. Besides autumn leaves I really miss the sound of a train whistle. You never know what you will miss when you live abroad, I guess.
So true! There is nothing like the sound of a train whistle or a fog horn. When we left New York we missed our Sunday morning coffee, bagel with lox and cream cheese and the Sunday NY Times crossword…
