I get a little overwhelmed by boats, boatyards, harbors and all things nautical or marine. I don’t know my flotsam from my jetsam. So I simplify by focusing in, sometimes waaaay in.
While Mr. DW is a “big picture” kinda guy, on a recent trip to Gloucester Marine Railways, “The Oldest Working Shipyard in America”, I got lost in the details: colors, patinas, and textures. These abstract art works were created by time, Mother Nature and the good folks at Gloucester Marine Railways. I just had to point and shoot. —Mrs. DW
