Nature is amazing the way it will cling to life and indeed reclaim for its own what humans have abandoned.
Yes – it seems so fragile, but in fact has won out over the concrete!

I have often attempted to take photos such as this- of a flower or weed pushing through a crack in the concrete- this photo captures the valiant effort of a single Poppy to thrive in the bleakest of circumstances.
