Thanks, Su. A while ago, I don’t know why, I got it in to my head to shoot images that were bisected…I think it had to do with a hashtag I found on Instagram. And then this challenge. Coincidence? I think not!
Serendipity! I really struggled with the challenge. I couldn’t find a single shot that worked for me. It was so bad I had to share my ginger crunch to get a photo!
I hadn’t seen it, but I’m not surprised. The Big T and I do something similar on road trips. The cafe in the old railway station in Helensville does both traditional and gluten-free ginger crunch, and both are yummy. I have always used the Edmonds recipe, but have also experimented with an oat-y sort of base (basically an anzac biscuit recipe). That is what I photographed (bought from the Chocolate Factory in Beachhaven) and we both pronounced it delish. I’ll have another go at baking the oaty version and post the recipe and some pics. …. oh the hardships I endure for blogging. Hope you are both well and not missing freezing (but sunny) NZ too much 🙂
Love them all…no half and half 🙂
Thanks so much!!
I love every one of these 🙂

What? Su, that’s madness! You know that Mr DW has a ginger crunch “problem”…did you see our ode to ginger crunch?http://wp.me/p2X3ub-To

Great interpretation of the challenge!
Thanks – sometimes parameters and restrictions produce the best results!
Awesome
And mostly shot in our ‘hood…can you identify the locales?
Fairway? I can’t place the Barber/Bodega. But I LOVE it!
